These records are taken from the Galveston County Courthouse records, and have been transcribed by Floyd "Lanny" Martin. We know all names were not recorded. If the name you are searching for is not on this list then check the Texas State Vital Records or another source.
Notes - some of the illegible records include book and page numbers, some records are marked DELAYED (there was no certificate issued at birth). Some of the babies were not named until later and the record doesn't contain a given name but may include the father's name. Some records say AMEND, they were changed - possibly a new name, changing a parent's name or even the date of birth.
